ABOUT THE STUDIO
Greetings and thanks for checking out Harden Guitar and Music Studio. Taking music lessons is an exciting and rewarding journey that can be started by anyone at any age. Who wouldn't love to be able to simply strum a guitar, pick out a classical etude, or perform a rip-roaring lead solo on a beautiful 6-string acoustic or fire-red Fender Stratocaster? Please read below for more information about me and the studio and see if private instruction with Harden Guitar is the right fit for you or your student.
YOU STAY PUT, I'LL COME TO YOU
Lessons are provided from two locations: our main studio (see below) as well as in YOUR home. Sometimes getting a student to weekly lessons is virtually impossible. You rest and let us do the driving.
MISSION STATEMENT
Harden Guitar and Music Studio exists to provide students in the Lowcountry with quality instruction in guitar performance and music theory. Through private lessons, students will grow in their technical ability, passion for music, and overall joy for life!
ABOUT TREVOR HARDEN / BACKGROUND
I have been studying and performing guitar for over 15 years. Throughout those years I have taken lessons from several excellent instructors, most notably Paul Reilly at Ball State University (Indiana) with whom I studied classical and jazz guitar. I have training in (and teach) a variety of guitar styles including rock, classical, fingerstyle acoustic, and more as well as music theory and composition. Besides teaching full-time, I serve part-time at a local church and perform in various entertainment venues in the area.

General Music degree from Ball State University, 2001
4 years Music Composition training
4 years Classical Guitar Studies at Ball State University
15 years of study and private practice
